2. Yes, the Tabasco ad does a nice job of being sexy without overtly crass and yet getting the point of the product across.

Yea, that counter-top one was pointless on several levels. Unless you have a memorable name, you have to HAMMER the point home repeatedly in your first and only national spot because if you ask people, they can only name one counter - top (Corian) so if you're going to try and grab mindshare - people must actually know your name. PLus, it's badly directed - the Diane Pearl thing makes people think it's another Visa Emmitt Smith stolen ID ad, then too much time is spent focused on Fridge Perry's sandwich so is a Subway ad also? And close with Rodman? First, while he's well known, he';s not really well liked (low Q rating) so it should've been a football player you didn't expect to find taking a bath.

Ford does a hilarious FROZEN GUY Ford Mustang ad but then blows it by the Ford Trucks - WE MAKE YOU TOUGH? Really? But the point was lost because the family was NOT driving a Ford truck - it would've made a little more sense if the family felt safe from dirty bikers because they were in a Ford truck so as you point, WTF are they thinking?

The careerbuilder was amusing in the first spot but then quickly obvious by spot #2.

The Bud Beer jumping spot was ineptly directed and at the end, neither of them jump out still so even after the Bud's gone, they'd rather be on a crashing airplane with no pilot. Huh?

While the Fedex was amusing and entertaining, it didn't really sell anything about fedex or kinko's.

THe Napster ads might've worked if they ran earlier but by halftime, there's no way 80% of the audience is coherent enough to read tiny type on a poster AND try and figure out what it meant. While we all know what the ipod and the itunes thing is, keep in mind there are only 10 million ipods and even presuming another 20 million ready to buy this year - that's still about 10% of the overall superbowl audience - at least it's more than the Chicago Bears countertop potential audience but not by much.

3. Lincoln Fry? Have to agree with you on the waste of money, especially now that I've actually gone to the site and found numerous dead ends, including the link to the Yahoo Auction which actually just dumps you on Yahoo's home page. Even if you navigate on your own to the Auction site, don't bother searching for "Lincoln Fry," because it doesn't appear to be there.

If I spent nearly five million dollars to promote my web site, I'd make sure the links at least worked.

5. I thought the Tabasco ad was a clever concept but not really sexy - especially after the company announced last week that they were going to run a "sexy ad". Eva Longoria's one line in the P. Diddy Diet Pepsi ad was much hotter.

6. Disagree with your assessment of the Career Builder ads.

They were not exceptionally creative, but certainly were enough to get attention and resonate with their target audience.

7. Your Super Bowl comments are emotional and irrelevant. Cindy Crawford's Pepsi spot is forgettable and not the least bit clever. No comparison to the 10 year old Diet Coke spot where the women office workers droul out their windows watching a hunk drink the flavored treat. Yea, yea, yea...A-B did a thank you soldiers bit. I don't see them sending any of their children over there to fight. Keep on becoming billionaires A-B while our next door neighbors are taking it in the back. Ameriquest, yes funny, but take a poll. No one will ever remember who the ads are for. FedX was well conceived and crafted, but dosen't sell a darn thing. Not to me anyway. Ford Mustang, great idea, badly executed. I couldn't get over the bad make-up and mis-casting actor. Bud Light. I stopped drinking that beer a long time ago because of their bad contrived commercials. Kudo's to all those over-priced creatives out there who can talk the client into creating bullshit while they go home and proudly watch their copies like its self-porno. I will give the Cadillac shop *** three stars though for "Bang!" Great idea but not a :60. Bottom of the bottom line. Worse Super Bowl advertising to date. All forgettable and all interchangable. Clients should study Ridley Scott and Apple or BBDO and Pepsi from the 80's then put the pressure on these hacks.

8. The people in the silstone ad were all ex 85 bears. Ditka, fridge perry and mcmahn (sp?) the point is why have them and then rodman? no connection at all.
Everyone at work liked the monkey ads all saying the same thing "just like working here" which is probably careerbuilders point exactly!
