Cadillac will reconvene on its CadillacUnder5 campaign on Sunday when it not only announces the 20 finalists in the contest that asked for entries of short films no longer than five seconds in length. One of the spots the carmaker is set to run will contain a film - reportedly chosen "at random" - entitled "Ready for Winter." The film was created by a 20-year old college student Devin Doyle from Athens, Ohio, and will run along with the new CTS-V model. The combination of the upcoming feature film "Be Cool" having its stars take part in the television and online campaign has been a huge success, with Cadillac reporting that its cadillac.com website was experiencing a 300% increase over traffic at the same time a year ago.
Oh, and in case you were wondering - the new models designated with the "V" nomenclature can all do 0-60 in less than five seconds, hence the contest theme.
