Alleged Ford marketing memo gets out

fordfocusStay Free! posts about a memo that reportedly went out to employees at Ford Motor Company on Tuesday, with details about the carmaker's upcoming product placement, er...vehicle integrations...into television programming in the near future. Some highlights as follows:

  • A Ford Mustang themed room for a boy in next week's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on ABC
  • Dr. Phil to give a 2005 Ford Five Hundred to a "loyal fan" in honor of the 500th show. Get it, five hundred for 500? Hoo boy!
  • American Idol's two finalists to apparently receive a 2005 Mustang during the finale

Sheesh, all we get on this week's AI is a cheesy Ford Focus "commercial."
