
Yahoo! Finance is currently featuring spots for BMW's new 3 series automobile in browsers of all types, but the full effect is reserved only for Internet Explorer users. A line of 3s appear in the sidebar ad, only to be blasted about the screen by the incoming 3 series. Those 3s then make their way into the main content of the page, replacing the letter "e" within each of the titles of the sections - linking to the BMW webpage for the car.
It's kind of a neat thing, except for the fact that a ton of Firefox browsing folks won't be able to see the full effect at all. View the ad here.


1. I thought yahoo was hacked by someone trying to do 'elitespeak' until I saw the car on the right.
For that reason, it made me cringe.
