Giant PSP ad in SoHo

pspsoho"Never let 'em see you sweat" is a phrase to live by that you might have heard on television commercials or while watching bad cop movies. It's probably good advice to take, though. It's also something for big companies putting up big advertising in big cities to keep in mind - because someone's always watching!

Tim Murtaugh posts about the erection of a giant PlayStation Portable as a "billboard" in SoHo. The whole feed of photos taken over three different days can be seen over at Flickr. Hopefully, the billboard won't suffer from too many OS problems going forward.

Not for nothing, but this is a pretty slick use of television screens with a computer projecting images of games, people using the device, and other PSP info. Then again, creating a giant anything and using it for advertising purposes is probably pretty successful, historically speaking.
