I grew up in Iowa, and due to the Iowa Caucuses I’ve grown used to seeing political ads long before most other people are bombarded with them. Now, just as merchants are putting out Christmas displays earlier and earlier, folks back in my home state are already seeing ads for the next presidential election. The ads are running despite the fact that no one from either of the major parties have announced they’re running for office. I guess you can never start to soon, even if you haven't actually started.
