Does Christianity really need to be promoted? Is there anyone left in the world who doesn't know there's a religion called Christianity? I guess not, because a new promotional campaign in the UK which is currently running in movie theaters features celebs Bear Grylls, Linvoy Primus, and Kim Johnson (I don't know who they are either). The ads promote Christianity, but more exactly, they promote the Alpha Course, an "introduction to Christianity" offered through a number of different churches.

1. This steams me. Not because it's religious, although it's just as bad, no no. For a while now (here in upstate NY, anyway) they have actual commercials e.i. twix, skiddles, that annoying fanta girls ad ala the previews. I do not buy an expensive movie ticket to see commercials. Previews for upcoming movies have been an acceptable norm. Common TV ads need to be banned from the big screen. Don't worry, I'm looking for email addresses to the source for some good ranting hate mail.
