Ads hit the pavement

Add "Parking Stripe" to the list of advertisements that you find where you least expect to find them. The new venture from ad exec Greg Gorman (he's the guy who created the Budweiser frogs) places advertisements on the lines in parking lots. He came up with the idea two years ago, but is just now preparing to roll them out. Gorman and his agency are in talks with national advertisers, but it remains to be seen whether this approach will work or not. Personally, I don't like it, but not because I don't think it won't work. I'm more concerned with people staring at the pavement and blocking the way while I try to find a parking space.
