The mayor of San Paulo, Brazil is asking that advertisements promoting brothels be covered up for the upcoming Brazilian Grand Prix race. Brothels are legal in Brazil, but apparently Mayor Jose Serra has some qualms with it. The ads in question actually tie the brothels into the race, and some are said to subtly depict an auto racer receiving oral sex in his car. I don't know about the rest of you, but if NASCAR ran ads like that it might actually turn me into a racing fan.

1. good grief charlie brown! brothels are not legal here in S?Paulo. what they are is very well hidden behind the facade of beautiful houses and most probably a lot of cash to the police. and yes, during the racing season (whixh actually lasts a week) they tend to advertise the services a little more (i have no idea why because everyone knows where these places are and how they work...) but this year someone got carried away and only after the S**T hit the fan did our mayor do something about it. ok, he did something after it became the news of the day and a lot of people were complaining. i assure you the pilots and their friends, followers, or whatever, would have found their way there eventually. with or without billboards. sad, but true. come one - they rich and they still have to PAY for it???
