Visa and your mother

John Hargrave recently made a prank call to Visa in order to demonstrate that using your mother's maiden name as a security measure really isn't very secure at all. When prompted by the operator for his maiden name, he just mumbled something unintelligible, but the operator still went ahead anyway. That's funny and all, and I'd hate to be the one to extract the humor from this, but I don't know if I would base my opinion of Visa's security measures on one prank phone call. He may have just gotten a bad operator, and besides, working in call centers does eventually melt your brain. You can listen to an MP3 of the call, though Hargrave's delivery does become cloying after awhile.
