Finally, there's a way to force your political views onto your child at an early age. Baby Politico offers clothing for infants and toddlers emblazoned with slogans about adoption, evolution, healthcare and other political stuff. While I understand that there is certainly a market for this sort of thing, and people always dress their kids up to reflect themselves, I find the idea of treating a child like a billboard rather than a human being to be somewhat egregious.

Somewhat like buying them brand name clothes. Somewhat like buying them toys. All of those things in popular culture make a statement. If we're not to dress them up in something that would convey a certain viewpoint then we might as well not dress them. Of course that would be making a statement too.
