Google Analytics launches

In yet another move to make themselves the one-stop-shop for everything you need to do on the web, Google has lauched Google Analytics today. The utility lets website publishers track visitors on their website and see how their pages are performing. Analytics - and the bevy of services that already provide this service - are expecially useful to publishers using Google AdWords, who can see what kind of pages/keywords generate the highest traffic. Analytics will also be able to be used for non-Google campaigns, according to this New York Times article. Marketers as well as publishers will be able to get useful data out of the system. They'll be able to track clicks based on keywords and measure effectiveness.
