One XBOX 360 ad for limited audiences

xbox360We hear that Monday's Seattle Post-Intelligencer has deets on an advertisement that Microsoft has had done for the XBOX 360 launch, but it's not the "Jump In" one you've seen already, nor is it the European "Joy" spot. This one ad, "Stand Off," apparently shows people running around "shooting" at one another with their fingers, a la what you and I did last week...errr, when we were five years old. The P-I's Todd Bishop reports that this ad is to be unleashed this evening, at the Zero Hour event in Palmdale, California. BusinessWeek reports that even though the ad was called "award-winning" by Microsoft's Robbie Bach, it had to be kept off the airwaves because of events in today's world.

If and when we get our hands on this spot, we'll place it here for your viewing pleasure. If you're one of the lucky few who's seen it and is on-site in Palmdale, we'd love to hear your impressions. And, if you've got a hold of it before we do, please let us know, and we'll be glad to put it up for all to see.

In the meantime, check out all the XBOX 360 stuff over at Joystiq.

[UPDATE 11/22] We've got the ad. You can see it here.
