AT&T launches new integrated brand campaign

Now that the acquisition of AT&T by SBC is complete, the combined company is gearing up for a push larger than either company ever attempted on its own. The brand campaign will be focused around the redesigned AT&T logo, which now features the company name in all lower case letters. Omnigroup's GSD&M is handling the campaign work along with Rogers/Townsend and new ads will begin hitting sometime next month. Until then the new logo will appear on corporate communications such as bills, uniforms and service trucks.

Over at The Design Weblog, Darren Chan has much more analysis of the logo itself, including how the lighting changed from the old way of doing things.
