MarketingVox has rounded up some discussion board threads regarding Google's new "Advertise on this site" feature for AdSense publishers. Some publishers have found that the text link - which now appears next to or below all AdSense ads - does not take people to that site's landing page but to the general AdWords sigin-up page. That cuts the publisher out of whatever targeted buy the potential advertiser might have been looking for.
Another problem has arisen because some sites do more than just publish AdSense. The "Advertise on this site" link, they feel, is confusing because some might think that's the only place to buy advertising instead of just one of many - some of which are more lucrative for the publisher than AdSense.
Both issues are ones that Google needs to look into immediately. They need to make sure that when a link is automatically pushed onto someone's site that it takes clickers where they intend to go. Likewise, they do need to make that text be something less all-inclusive and clearly label it as AdWords/AdSense. As far as the issue of whether or not you can opt out of this, you can. When you enter your AdSense account you can unselect a box for the On Site Advertiser program. If people are experiencing problems I suggest they do so, at least until Google clears up some issues.

1. AdSense Google has a lot of software problem and blame the publisher inthis problem.
