One slogan not enough for Brooklyn

It turns out that one slogan isn't enough
for Brooklyn. That's what Borough President Marty Markowitz and the Brooklyn Tourism Partnership are saying after they
ran a contest looking for a new tourism slogan. I'm thinking this isn't so much a reflection of the diverse and
eclectic make up of Brooklyn, but that they simple couldn't decide on a slogan that really worked. I'm not sure why
Brooklyn would need more than one slogan more than any other place would. Nevertheless, that's what the city is doing.
Some of the new slogans include "Brooklyn: Bridge to the World," "Brooklyn: The Tenth Planet," and
"Do It In Brooklyn."
