Engadget live-blogged
the keynote speech by Steve Jobs at MacWorld. While going through various geek features of new Macs and other Apple
products Jobs also gave the audience some hints and previews of new ads for both the iPod and their Intel partnership,
which Tom talked about here. The new iPod
ads will feature jazz musician Wynton Marsalis, but there's no details on when it would debut. The Intel-focused spots
will likely hit around mid-2006, when computers with the Intel chips start shipping. According to the transcription the
campaign will play up how Intel chips have been "stuck inside ordinary computers" until now when they're
powering Macs. Again, few details but it's a glimpse of what's to come from Apple in 2006.

The Intel ad was played twice; it's right at the end of the keynote. The crowd erupted loudly the first time it was played.
