New Jersey unveils new slogan

I agree with at adfreak: New Jersey's new slogan, "Come see for yourself" is not great. Tim offers a number of alternatives and points out the obvious fact that "come see for yourself" is not exactly a slogan that has exclusively positive interpretations. Plus, it's so bland and non-descript it could be used for anything from a state to a theme park to a child's birthday party. Here are other suggestions that come to my mind:

  • New Jersey: Just like Clerks only with 10% more swearing
  • New Jersey: 50 fewer calories than New York
  • New Jersey: Not just a dumping ground for dead bodies
  • New Jersey: Home of Tom Biro. What else do you need to know?
  • New Jersey: Stop laughing!
  • New Jersey: If you squint, the top of the state kind of looks like Bart Simpson's head
