Sex is used to sell
everything from cars to... well, it's pretty much used to sell everything. After about the twelve billionth time, it
gets a little annoying. Dentyne doesn't shy away from the idea that "sex sells" with this commercial, but
it's done in a fun, tongue-in-cheek kind of way and I like it. I especially like the "whip crack" sound that
accompanies each product as it's slammed onto the counter. It's sex, sure, but it's done in a self-aware manner that
other ads lack.
