According to BusinessWeek's Blogspotting, a winner has come
through in the eBay auction
the Rocketboom vlog had put up to sell some ad space. The winning company is named TRM and is an ATM and photocopying
company. They bid $40,000 (a bit shy of the $50,000 number that had been thrown about a bit) and an ad should appear
some time next month. Apparently so many companies bid that Rocketboom founder Andrew Baron is not only working to get
TRM ad created but also cut deals with some of the the other interested parties. Good on Rocketboom for trying
something new and good on TRM and others for being willing to follow them into something outside normal safety zones.Rocketboom auction update: A winner!
