Bennett is talking about an interesting spot he's heard
about - a new "DVR Proof" ad from KFC. Well, it's not so much DVR-proof in that it doesn't allow you to fast
forward through it, but it makes it so that if you DO have a DVR, you can see a code that is "hidden" on the
screen that wins you a free sandwich at KFC. Of course, I'm guessing that you have to know that this ad is out there in
order to know to watch it in slow-mo, but it does create an interesting idea - are people going to start hiding stuff in
ads for this purpose, just like the high definition easter eggs we've seen on shows like NBC's My Name Is Earl?To fast forward or not fast forward

(Page 1)2. What's the deal with not referring the website, where the ad is. The ad is on the site and can be stopped to get the "code". Seems like there are a lot more houses with broadband internet access than DVRs.

1. Depends on how well they hide it... apparently ABC passed on the ad do to subliminal message legal concerns. I guess CBS and NBC have fewer qualms since they're running the spot. By the way, an article I read says the secret word is 'buffalo' which I entered on the KFC site to get my $1 off coupon. Turns out they're sending them to the first 75,000 entrants via postal mail. Oops - guess I should I haven't used that fake name and snail mail address.
