Procter and Gamble, the company that started the whole
"soap opera" thing in the first place, has created a new promotion for As The World Turns and
Guiding Light. People who are interested can go to Daytime
Dollars and register to receive a special code in their inbox each week. Then they just have to watch As
The World Turns and Guiding Light and look for their code. If the code matches, they enter it into the
site and instantly win $500. That's almost worth the damage your brain will endure from watching those shows. The
promotion kicks off on March 13 and runs through September 29.

21. I have watched Guiding Light and as the world turns for years. I signed up to get a code while I watch but never received it. Why? I'd so much like to do this.
