I think they've actually been available for awhile
now in certain markets, but yesterday was the first time I had seen an ad for the new Lego-shaped Eggos. My first reaction was,
"why didn't they think of doing this sooner?" Kellogg's brittle, tasteless toaster confections have been
pounded into our collective conscious from the beginning with that annoyingly catchy "Leggo My Eggo!" slogan,
and I'm sure I wasn't the only person to make a connection between "leggo" and "Lego."
Anyway, if you haven't seen them, they're essentially Eggo waffles in the shape of Lego blocks, so you actually play with your food. This is much better than playing with real Legos, which are rarely coated in syrup and can't burn your fingers. Seriously, what's the fun in that?
