Ninjamarketing alerts us to an Italian
advertisement for Fonzies, some sort of snack food, that features semi-amusing American cult slasher film psycho from
the damned, Freddy Krueger, who has decided to show up to get his slay on. Thankfully for the guests, he seems to be
too busy being his usual slacker self (thankfully, no monologues) and doesn't notice that everyone gets the heck outta
dodge well before he has a chance to dice them up and impale them on his glove 'o' knives. Of course, he decides that the Fonzies snacks are just what he needs to make his day. But that doesn't mean he's smart enough to not try and lick his fingers after eating. Ninjamarketing also tells us that the ad has been "banned" as being too scary, but we don't really see it. You can thank Euro RSCG for this masterpiece, btw.
1. It must just be me. Every ad blog's got this thing up. It was sent to me. I watch it. I said "whatever." Apparently Freddy's dies so many times and been "so over" for eons that it's OK for some horror-hipster creative team to whip this up this overly predictable slop. Oh damn, I just wrote a post:-) See what you all made me do?
