Of course, he decides that the Fonzies snacks are just what he needs to make his day. But that doesn't mean he's smart enough to not try and lick his fingers after eating. Ninjamarketing also tells us that the ad has been "banned" as being too scary, but we don't really see it. You can thank Euro RSCG for this masterpiece, btw.
One, Two, Freddy's coming for your....snacks

(Page 1)2. I just couldn't let it go, frankly. I know it was sent to like a zillion places (that's what I get for being on mailing lists) but for some reason Freddy just has a special place in my heart that I'll never give up to loser bad guys....well, except maybe Leatherface or Pinhead.
3. Oh now Pinhead. I'm with you on that one....but only the first movie:-)

4. That was flat out brilliant. Easily one of the most clever ads I've seen in quite sometime.

5. I was just happy to see a horror icon being used in the mainstream!

6. That was an awful makeup job. It was pretty clear that it wasn't Robert Englund there. If it was, he needs a better makeup artist.
And although I'm a big NOES fan, that was a dumb commercial. I've seen it countless times before. Person with dominating features/personality shows up, controls a situation, and then comments on a product.
Licking his fingers was the only original thing about it, but Freddy's character has been known for self mutilation, and licking the knives. So, the humor of him reacting to licking his glove is lost on anyone familiar with the character.

11. Umm,I'm glad to see people thought of Fred, and thought he was kewl enough to advertise their snack(s)...but the make up sucked, the voise was way too high,he took breaths way more than Robert does, and he doesnt have the dancer body... so they need to work on some things... and was that shirt BLACK & red?!!?! it didnt look olive green to me...was his hat & pants black instead of brown? he got the speed of the laugh down though, that was good.... haha

1. It must just be me. Every ad blog's got this thing up. It was sent to me. I watch it. I said "whatever." Apparently Freddy's dies so many times and been "so over" for eons that it's OK for some horror-hipster creative team to whip this up this overly predictable slop. Oh damn, I just wrote a post:-) See what you all made me do?
