network MySpace has launched a
round of public service announcements encouraging users to be wary of information they post and people they meet. The
ads come amid reports and fears of the service being frequented by sexual predators. It also comes just a day
after MySpace hired
an online security chief to keep an eye on misuses and dangers of inappropriate usage. The ads will appear as banners
on MySpace pages as well as other Fox and News Corp owned online sites. The PSAs are actually an extension of a
two-year old campaign from Ad Council and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. One emphasis of the
campaign will be to discourage underage users from posting too much personal information such as their exact location

(Page 1)2. This is definately a move in the right direction for MySpace, but honestly it's an impossible task. 60+ million members and who knows how many private member-to-member messages sent per day. I would
