TNT is debuting three shows in an ad-free format. Instead of being accompianied by commercial breaks, the shows will be
presented
as being "sponsored by" a variety of companies. The debut of the second season of The Closer, for
instance, will be sponsored by car maker Audi. Corporate sponsors for two other shows have not yet been disclosed. The
strategy is becoming increasingly popular with broadcasters and companies, both of whom are trying to not have the ads
they both depend on zapped by DVRs. It also makes the placement of the corporation more prominent, not just one
