Do the Lambretta twist

Okay, the main reason I'm posting this commercial for Lambretta scooters (via Jeff Pidgeon) is because it's kooky, weird, and I have a penchant for such things. Also, I love the cheesy retro feel. I also think it demonstrates nicely how important it is for an ad to be visually captivating. Despite not understanding a word these people are singing, I really want one of those scooters now, and I have absolutely no use for a scooter. It also makes me want to buy a scooter for my wife and kids, and I'm not even married. In other words, it's making me want to make a sudden purchase without thinking about the consequences of my actions, which is really all I ask for in any ad campaign. Check it out:
