In June, Oreos will be changing shape for the first time since the
cookie was introduce in 1912. Don't worry, though, Oreo purists, it's only for six weeks. The new oblong Oreos,
called Oreo Dunkers, are shaped specifically for dunking in milk, with various messages on them such as "Dunk
Me" and "Milk's Favorite Cookie." The new cookies will also have lines indicating "dry,"
"soaked," and "soggy." The new cookies may come back next season as well, depending on how they
fare with this initial release. Personally, I don't see myself buying these new Oreos, as I've never understood the
whole "cookie dunking" phenomenon. I don't think I've ever been eating a cookie and wished it was soggy and
falling apart in my hand. And frankly, it's just a way to ruin a perfectly good glass of milk. The only person
I've ever known who dunked his Oreos was my grandfather, and he had no teeth.Oreo gets bent out of shape
