First of all, this ad is just plain cool for what it was trying to do,
which is provide bicycles for tsunami victims. I also like the optical illusion of placing a picture of the inside of a
mailbox over a real mailbox. In print it's quite convincing, though I'm not sure how it looks in real life. I seem to
recall ads on the back of semis that made it look as if you were peering inside the trailer, and those always through
me off while driving. Anyway, the effort is actually a joint one between World Bicycle Relief and Magnecote, a maker of
magnetic paper. Rather than doing straight ads, Magnecote had World Bicycle Relief create the outdoor ads, with the only
stipulation being they had to utilize Magnecote's paper in the process.Bike in a box
