Ford makes "Bold Moves"

A new campaign from Ford Motor Co. set to break next month ditches the classic  "Built for the road ahead" with the new slogan "Bold Moves," a take on the phrase "red, white and bold" that's been used internally by Ford chief Mark Fields. No details other than the copy point were revealed, but the company has briefed sales people as well as part suppliers on the campaign, meant to try and stop the bleeding of market share Ford has been experiencing. The only factoid that's been released is that the new commercials will feature American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. The emphasis, based on past statements, is likely to be on the style and the choice of Clarkson as the person appearing in the ads reaffirms that suspicion.
