3. I am very disappointed in they way Al Roker poked fun at Epileptic seizures. My room mate is effected by Epileptic seizures, and he has to change his entire lifestyle and diet to cope with this debilitating disease. My room mate is very self confident, and professionally successful. But I can still see how he gets his feelings hurt by comments such as the one made by Al Roker. My room mate has "fallen to the floor and shook around." The seizure broke his nose and caused a concussion. Has anyone at the Today Show ever walked in on a person having a seizure in a puddle of their own blood? I have, and it changed my life. Comments like Al Roker's trigger a truly scary memory for me. People who suffer from this disease did not bring this on by themselves, and I am disgusted that Al Roker chooses a debilitating disease to poke fun of. I am not satisfied by Al Roker's apology and I am going to forward this email to your advertisers, as well as boycott their products and services until Mr. Roker is at least suspended for his comments. What kind of a message is NBC sending?
