Cinema Direct Media connects ad buyers with theater screens

I think this is a pretty cool tool.
Cinema Direct Media is a bit of software that enables ad buyers to purchase ad space on the screens of about 5,300 theaters that are not currently part of the big two ad networks. Buyers can view demographic data for each screen such as age, gender and more and make purchases appropriately. That's a great way to make sure that the theaters not in either of existing networks still have access to advertising dollars and that advertisers have access to those screens. I might not be a big fan of pre-movie advertisements but that doesn't mean they're not effective.
Imagine if a system like this existed for buying TV ad time.
