The Suburban Newspapers of America association has created an advertising network consisting of its member papers. It's a move to go beyond local advertisers that make up so much of local advertising and present an attractive option for national advertisers. The network will consist of 152 sites that are the online presence of 370 newspaper titles. One thing the SNA is playing up is the lack of other advertising currently on these paper's sites. That translates to less clutter which means a national advertiser's message could be more prominently displayed on the site. The SNA represents about 2,000 papers in total in the U.S. and Canada and more papers are likely to sign on to the network as it rolls out and ramps up.Local newspapers for ad network
