Most of the potboiler bestsellers you'll find in large chain book stores eventually wind up being made into movies, which makes sense as those books are essentially created for a wider audience and not necessarily for discerning readers. However, once in awhile movie executives will get their sweaty paws on a classic work of fiction and try to make it into a film, usually with disastrous results. These ads for the Association of Librarians of the Czech Republic imagine what a book cover might look like after Hollywood gets a hold of them. The line on the bookmark reads, "Read It Before Hollywood Does." Very nicely done, though I can't help but think they may be on to something by adding the two scantily-clad women to The Old Man and the Sea. You know, otherwise it's just some guy on a boat (*yawn*).Read the book before the movie gets made
