Canadian Pepsi subway ad actually plays music

Pepsi headphone jack adWell, this is a first: If you're on a subway in Vancouver or Toronto, you can actually listen to tunes right off one of the ads on the wall. Adverbox reports that Pepsi has installed some unique ads for its website pepsiaccess.ca, where Canadian customers can enter PINs found on Pepsi labels and receive exclusive offers for music and concerts.

These subway ads, created by BBDO Canada, contain real headphone jacks, and the curious who stick their headphones in there will hear samples of songs that are available at the web site.

This can only happen in Canada, where even the subways are exceedingly clean. If I saw an ad like that on the NYC subway, I'd stay as far away from it as possible. I mean, I don't know where that headphone jack has been, know what I mean?
