Fashionable retailer New York & Co. has signed stars Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo to appear in a series of ads set to debut this fall. NY&C is labeling the featuring of a male personality in ads for a women's retailer as "risky" but it's not really that risky when there's a logical connection between him and a female costar.
