Clear Channel is considering the use of one-second commercials on their radio stations. They're calling the spots "Blinks" and would basically only be a brief audio cue with maybe one word. This makes it attractive only to those marketers who have an instantly identifiable jingle or quick catch-phrase. The company insists this isn't just a publicity stunt but something that it's seriously considering. - The ever-shifting digital landscape is a bit intimidating to most marketers who know they need to be up-to-date on but it's really hard. 63 percent of the respondents to an AAF survey said the ad industry is behind the curve when it comes to online strategy.
