In this age of CGI and computer animation, stop-motion animation probably seems downright primitive, but that particular form can still be very fitting. Movies like Corpse Bride and TV shows like Moral Orel prove the technique still has an audience, but I don't think I've seen a commercial that uses it in quite some time. Off the top of my head, the Ms. Butterworth commercials from my childhood are the last I remember. I'm sure others have come along since then, but they're not seen as much anymore. Anyway, check out the ad below for Rheingold beer that features an awesome little stop-motion parade, complete with a keg for a blimp. This was apparently an Eastern alcoholic beverage, at least according to the commercial jingle.
