The FCC has ordered Time Warner Cable to reinstate the NFL Network to customers of systems Time Warner acquired recently. The operator had abruptly pulled the network from its channel lineup. Time Warner does not normally carry the NFL Network since it feels it should be part of a premium sports package, a position the network disagrees with. - Despite feeling enormous pressure from the Parents Television Council, Toyota and Chrysler have signaled they will not pull their advertising from the controversial FX program "Rescue Me." They apparently respect the American public enough to be confident they can make their own decisions.
- Heavy.com is partnering with Miller Brewing Co. to create an online dating game branded by Miller's Fosters' Lager brand of beer. The promotional campaign for the game, which launches later this month, just kicked off by warning American women the "sheilas" were coming for their men.
