Yeti love Life cereal

life cerealPeople my age surely remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books in which you became the hero of the story and could decide your fate depending on which page you turned to. Those books are still around, and they've recently moved to DVD through a promotion with Life Cereal. If you think it's merely a matter of Life advertising the new DVDs on their cereal boxes and Web site, you're mistaken. The animated DVD, titled The Abominable Snowman, features a Yeti who really enjoys Life Cereal. I'm too old to really care too much about this, but I can't help but think this kind of overly-blatant product placement is more than a little egregious. Nevertheless, the idea of a DVD where kids can pick what happens next is pretty sweet. My brain will continue having this argument with itself indefinitely.
