Get ready for more old people

More and more Americans - specifically those in the Baby Boom generation - are getting older. That's one of the take-aways from a new report released by Nielsen Media Research. It shows the number of people entering the 55-64 age group are growing by four percent, as opposed to the 2 percent growth going on in the teens/early 20's group. As the article states, that older demographic is among the most snubbed by most media, including advertising.

So, you know, advertisers better look into that. Because if that's who's watching the shows on network TV then that better be who you're targeting in the commercial breaks.
