Scoble to Google: Make more videos

Blogger Robert Scoble (who I had the pleasure of meeting, along with several others, last week) has identified what he feels are some missed marketing opportunities by Google. In short, he feels Google is missing out on some great chances to educate people and ramp up usage of their products by not providing instructional videos on how to use them. Google does provide screencasts for some of their offerings such as how to use AdSense but not on a lot of their consumer-facing products like Blogger or Gmail. I think he has a point in that instructional videos are a great way to help people decide whether or not to use something. And in today's world of embeddable video this is especially helpful because it lets people spread the word organically.
