If you have kids, you most likely are a victim of occasional audio pollution. It is a commonly known fact that kids can't shut up, but hey, that's why we love them right? One of my favorite ads right now is a Volvo TV commercial, as part of the "who would you give a Volvo to" campaign. The ad features a father helping his daughter into the car amidst her incessant talking. If you listen to what the little girl says, she will crack you up. She says something like this, "...and I don't know what it is...there were worms and bugs...and his head is so tiny..." Ahh, the bliss of being in touch with your childhood nonsense. The thing I really like about this ad is that it is incredibly accurate. I have a three year old, and lately he just plain can't stop talking. He is almost four and in one of those "discover and explain the world" stages right now, and if you listen to what he says non-stop all day, he sounds like the little girl in the Volvo ad. Needless details abound and repetition is a must. Volvo must have done their research on this one, it is uncanny.P.S. If you click the read link, then look for the "watch the commercials" icon in the bottom left corner of the screen, you can see the ad.
