Caviezel ad responds to Fox's stem cell ad

Since we're all about balance here on Ad Jab, below you can watch an ad that counters the plea made by Michael J. Fox asking Missourians to support a candidate who supports stem cell research. This ad, which features stars of film, TV and sports such as Jim Caviezel, Patricia Heaton and Kurt Warner, warns folks against a pro-cloning constitutional amendment that would also allow fertility clinics to pay for women's eggs. The commercial also points out that stem cell research won't result in instantaneous cures, and that it may be several years before we see any real effects from such research. This claim, as far as I've seen, has never been disputed by the scientists who support stem cell research, and I'm not sure how it follows that just because we won't see results right away means we shouldn't do it at all. At any rate, I'll leave it up to you to compare and contrast the ad below with Fox's ad.
