Wendy's new "Bureau for Better Value" campaign features a video on YouTube telling us that Molly grows up by eating her first Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. This ad is funny, twisted, and funny cause it's dumb. Some would call this ad "trying too hard," and I call it "twisted" but in a dry-humor sort of way, it is a bit hysterical. The french dad is totally out of place, but I actually watched it twice. The ad does a good job on the irony of funny I suppose. For even more weird stuff circling Wendy's advertising, check out the Bureau for Better Value website. They are trying to be hip to the times, I'll give them that.
