The above headline comes from a road trip I took with some buddies years ago. It seemed like every rest stop between Illinois and Florida had a Cracker Barrel and Waffle House and so we co-opted the line from National Lampoon's European Vacation in order to, you know, keep ourselves sane.OK, onto the actual news. Cracker Barrel will be launching a new outdoor campaign that aims to update its image. New billboards along highways and biways will feature images of some of the dishes you can get at the restaurant as well as the trinkets to be found in their gift shops. 1,500 billboards will be outfitted with the new imagery by March of 2007.
