I absolutely love the animation in this commercial for Irn Bru. The concept is based on the classic story The Snowman, and it's actually quite touching watching the little boy fly through the air with his frozen pal. At least, it's touching until you realize the snowman really wants some of the boys Irn Bru and then plots to kill the young boy when he refuses to give up the refreshment. I guess the lesson here is to never upset a flying snowman, especially when they can drop you to your death. The little boy is okay in the end, which is a little disappointing. I don't think I would have shown the boy being killed, but maybe just show him dropping and leave his fate a mystery. All in all, though, a very clever bit of holiday advertising.
