No ads on craigslist says CEO

Craigslist CWO Jim Buckmaster showed what real "shock and awe" is. He announced to a room full of people who have advertising revenue on the brain that the popular online classifieds service has no interest in adding even simple text ads to the site. This apparently was greeted by a few nervous giggles until, upon further questioning, everyone in the room realized he was quite serious. Buckmaster is apparently happy with the revenue the sites brings in and has no plans to change that. That's largely because - and this is something that everyone should really pay attention to - none of the actual users have asked for it. Listening to the user base is something that's not done nearly enough and bully for Buckmaster and the rest of the team for doing so.
