Exclusive: Rock Band Unplugged Track List

Wal-Mart goes on the offensive with new ads

Those who question Wal-Mart just don't know what's good for them. If we pull our support of Wal-Mart what does that say about us as a nation? It signals defeat to our enemies who are just waiting for us to admit that Wal-Mart isn't important to us so they can sweep in and introduce Target and other institutions to the area that are dangerous to democracy.

Sorry, I've been watching a bit too much Fox News.

Anyway, Wal-Mart is once again launching a PR initiative disguised as an ad campaign playing up what a great contributor to America it is. The new campaign focuses on the home-spun roots of the company and, interestingly, includes a 30-second spot on the health insurance it provides its employees. The price and length of the campaign is unknown but, should it look like it's faltering, Wal-Mart is prepared to send in 20,000 more...Darnit!
